The Holy Bible is God’s Love Letter to Humans!

The Holy Bible is not merely an ancient collection of writings; it is God’s personal, divinely inspired love letter addressed to every human being!

From the first page of Genesis to the final promise of Revelation, Scripture reveals the heart of a Creator who longs for restored fellowship with His creation.

Unlike any other book, it speaks with living power, exposing sin, offering mercy, and pointing clearly to the only way of eternal life through Jesus Christ!

In the beginning, God demonstrated His love by forming the heavens and the earth and declaring everything “excellent in every way” (Genesis 1:31, TLB).

He created man and woman in His own image, breathed life into them, and placed them in a perfect garden. When Adam and Eve chose disobedience, sin entered the world and fellowship was broken.

Yet God’s love did not end. Throughout the Old Testament He pursued His people with covenant promises, prophetic warnings, and merciful deliverances, always pointing toward the coming Redeemer.

The New Testament unveils the climax of this love letter: John 3:16 (TLB) declares, “For God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son so that anyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, lived a sinless life, taught the truth, healed the broken, and willingly died on the Cross as the perfect sacrifice for our sins. Romans 5:8 (TLB) affirms, “But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.”

On the third day He rose again, conquering death and opening the way to heaven for all who repent and believe.

This love letter remains living and active today. It guides our steps like a lamp (Psalm 119:105), comforts us in trials, convicts us of wrong, and assures us of eternal life. As an 85-year-old Vietnam veteran who has read and shared this Word for decades through my nightly blog: OurDailyBread101.com, I testify that daily immersion in Scripture transforms the heart, strengthens faith, and prepares us for eternity.

The Bible does not leave us guessing about God’s will; It clearly calls every person to turn from sin and receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

Dear friend, open God’s Love Letter today. Read it carefully, believe its message, and respond by trusting Christ alone for salvation. His love has already been fully expressed at the cross—will you accept it?

AMEN!

Let us Praise Him Daily!

A good way to learn to Praise God is to memorize the first 6 Verses of Psalms 148:

1 Praise the Lord, O heavens! Praise Him from the skies!

2 Praise Him, all His angels, all the armies of heaven.

3 Praise Him, sun and moon and all you twinkling stars.

4 Praise Him, skies above. Praise Him, vapors high above the clouds.

5 Let everything He has made give praise to Him. For He issued His command, and they came into being;

6 He established them forever and forever. His orders will never be revoked.

PLEASE read the last 6 Chapters of Psalms: 145-150 so that you will learn how to Praise God like David did!

DAILY BIBLE READING:

>2. PLUS: 1 NEW Chapter from the Old Testament AND

>3. PLUS: 1 NEW Chapter from the New Testament Daily:

Chapter 17 in Proverbs for today: (OCTOBER 17 (MT) (ESV)

  1. 17 Better is a dry morsel with quiet
        than a house full of feasting[a] with strife.
    2 A servant who deals wisely will rule over a son who acts shamefully
        and will share the inheritance as one of the brothers.
    3 The crucible is for silver, and the furnace is for gold,
        and the Lord tests hearts.
    4 An evildoer listens to wicked lips,
        and a liar gives ear to a mischievous tongue.
    5 Whoever mocks the poor insults his Maker;
        he who is glad at calamity will not go unpunished.
    6 Grandchildren are the crown of the aged,
        and the glory of children is their fathers.
    7 Fine speech is not becoming to a fool;
        still less is false speech to a prince.
    8 A bribe is like a magic[b] stone in the eyes of the one who gives it;
        wherever he turns he prospers.
    9 Whoever covers an offense seeks love,
        but he who repeats a matter separates close friends.
    10 A rebuke goes deeper into a man of understanding
        than a hundred blows into a fool.
    11 An evil man seeks only rebellion,
        and a cruel messenger will be sent against him.
    12 Let a man meet a she-bear robbed of her cubs
        rather than a fool in his folly.
    13 If anyone returns evil for good,
        evil will not depart from his house.
    14 The beginning of strife is like letting out water,
        so quit before the quarrel breaks out.
    15 He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the righteous
        are both alike an abomination to the Lord.
    16 Why should a fool have money in his hand to buy wisdom
        when he has no sense?
    17 A friend loves at all times,
        and a brother is born for adversity.
    18 One who lacks sense gives a pledge
        and puts up security in the presence of his neighbor.
    19 Whoever loves transgression loves strife;
        he who makes his door high seeks destruction.
    20 A man of crooked heart does not discover good,
        and one with a dishonest tongue falls into calamity.
    21 He who sires a fool gets himself sorrow,
        and the father of a fool has no joy.
    22 A joyful heart is good medicine,
        but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
    23 The wicked accepts a bribe in secret[c]
        to pervert the ways of justice.
    24 The discerning sets his face toward wisdom,
        but the eyes of a fool are on the ends of the earth.
    25 A foolish son is a grief to his father
        and bitterness to her who bore him.
    26 To impose a fine on a righteous man is not good,
        nor to strike the noble for their uprightness.
    27 Whoever restrains his words has knowledge,
        and he who has a cool spirit is a man of understanding.
    28 Even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise;
        when he closes his lips, he is deemed intelligent.

CHAPTER 12 ISAIAH for today:

(October 17 (RF) ESV)

12 You[a] will say in that day:
“I will give thanks to you, O Lord,
    for though you were angry with me,
your anger turned away,
    that you might comfort me.

2 “Behold, God is my salvation;
    I will trust, and will not be afraid;
for the Lord God[b] is my strength and my song,
    and he has become my salvation.”

3 With joy you[c] will draw water from the wells of salvation. 4 And you will say in that day:

“Give thanks to the Lord,
    call upon his name,
make known his deeds among the peoples,
    proclaim that his name is exalted.

5 “Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously;
    let this be made known[d] in all the earth.
6 Shout, and sing for joy, O inhabitant of Zion,
    for great in your[e] midst is the Holy One of Israel.”

  1. Isaiah 12:1 The Hebrew for you is singular in verse 1
  2. Isaiah 12:2 Hebrew for Yah, the Lord
  3. Isaiah 12:3 The Hebrew for you is plural in verses 3, 4
  4. Isaiah 12:5 Or this is made known
  5. Isaiah 12:6 The Hebrew for your in verse 6 is singular, referring to the inhabitant of Zion

Revelation 03

for today: (OCTOBER  17 (NN) ESV)

1

3 “And to the angel of the church in Sardis write: ‘The words of him who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars.

“‘I know your works. You have the reputation of being alive, but you are dead. 2 Wake up, and strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your works complete in the sight of my God. 3 Remember, then, what you received and heard. Keep it, and repent. If you will not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come against you. 4 Yet you have still a few names in Sardis, people who have not soiled their garments, and they will walk with me in white, for they are worthy. 5 The one who conquers will be clothed thus in white garments, and I will never blot his name out of the book of life. I will confess his name before my Father and before his angels. 6 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’

To the Church in Philadelphia

7 “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: ‘The words of the holy one, the true one, who has the key of David, who opens and no one will shut, who shuts and no one opens.

8 “‘I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut. I know that you have but little power, and yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name. 9 Behold, I will make those of the synagogue of Satan who say that they are Jews and are not, but lie—behold, I will make them come and bow down before your feet, and they will learn that I have loved you. 10 Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth. 11 I am coming soon. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown. 12 The one who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God. Never shall he go out of it, and I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down from my God out of heaven, and my own new name. 13 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’

To the Church in Laodicea

14 “And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write: ‘The words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of God’s creation.

15 “‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! 16 So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. 17 For you say, “I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing,” not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked. 18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see. 19 Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. 21 The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne. 22 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’”

Please Remember:

“CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS

AND ROSE FROM THE DEAD!”

The Steps to Salvation:

> Repent: Repentance means that you are turning away from sin to turn to Christ. It does NOT mean that you will be perfect.

> Believe/Receive: Salvation is through Faith in Jesus and by the Grace of God. Believing means putting your Faith in Jesus and receiving forgiveness of sin.

>Walk in the Newness of Life: Jesus died so that we might live. We walk in the Newness of Life being Born Again by His Blood.
